The WHO defines probiotics as "live micro-organisms which, when consumed in adequate amounts, provide measurable health benefits", or more simply 'the good bacteria'.

Most common probiotics example  is yogurt which is developed by manufacturer eg DANONE's  Activa brand. Diaherra  has been the most successful case of probiotics  effects . Other benefits  are still under research .
